Greer uses Welsh Druid deities and symbols to show how to adapt exercises and rituals to whatever tradition calls most strongly to them. He discussed the importance of nature and knowing the self when involved with Druid Magic.

Feeding off her interest of history, Elizabeth uses historical references throughout her novels as well as basis characters and locations off of it.
